Audio Device (in Skype, or another application)
If your audio device is not working as expected, here are a few things you can try to correct the problem.
If the problem is happening while you are on a call, begin by clicking on the picture of the audio device, in the bottom right hand corner of your Skype for Business window:
- Choose Audio Device Settings
- Click on the dropdown list, and choose your headset (if that is the device you're using)
- If that does not work, please continue with entering a ticket, and IT will be there help shortly!
If the problem is happening while using another program, watching a video or listening to other audio, begin by right-clicking the speaker icon in your system tray:
- Choose Playback Devices
- click on the device which you wish to use, and then click Set Default at the bottom of the window
- click OK
