OneNote Troubleshooting

There are several way you can recover deleted information from OneNote?  

• From the ribbon in the Desktop Application:  History Tab> Notebook Recycle Bin
• 
• On the C: drive:  (moving pages gets cancelled) navigate here   C: > Users > your name > AppData > Local > Microsoft > OneNote > 15.0 > Backup

  • From OneNote select the File tab on the ribbon and click "Open Backups"

For issues that are not resolved through this process please submit ticket to the help desk with details of the document name, location and date you need it restored from.
