Mitel - Cannot hear Callers

Issue example

Don't hear dial tone, ringing or the person answering but the caller reports can hear you

Steps:

When you open Mitel, click on your name under the dialpad to expand the window and you will also see your phone number and extension listed.
In that same place, check that "softphone" is selected for incoming calls and change the mic from default to communications

To review your settings, click the gear button




Have you installed Chrome extension by chance? If so, mic settings should also be changed in the extension to rule out further issues. If you haven't installed it, you can click here to add it as an extension. The extension is a resource for calling from the browser, syncing your OFB Google calendar and contacts that depends on your availability status so do check out those settings as well.
When changes have been made, log out/in from both softphone and extension to ensure settings are updated.
